Today's session, September 15, 2026. The five items below are chosen from the built-in lesson library by a fixed daily rule and refresh at midnight.
-
Warm-up
Reach up and return without the hand drifting.
Start
-
Speed test
Keep the same speed in the final minute as in the first.
Start
-
Accuracy task
Distinguish words that differ by a single letter.
Start
-
Weak-key task
Combine Shift with punctuation without losing your place.
Start
-
Recommended lesson
Type numeric dates with slashes at a steady pace.
Start
Working through all five takes roughly fifteen minutes. Doing that on most days will move your speed further than one long session at the weekend.
Why a fixed routine helps
Left to ourselves, most of us repeat what we are already good at. A fixed routine forces the uncomfortable parts - numbers, punctuation, sustained paragraphs - into every session, which is where the improvement actually comes from.
If you want a routine tailored to your own speed and target, use the practice plan generator instead.
